This is Khalil Abu Omar from Khan Yunis. I am 23 years old. I lived with my family, 8 people. Then the war came and destroyed everything beautiful that we had. We were building my home before the start of this but everything has been destroyed. I have been displaced almost 7 times, most of them walking long distances despite my severe injuries. I was shot twice, once when i left to retrieve flour for my household and the other time i was hit by shrapnel when i was close to the bombardment. God saved me from death and God willed that I get engaged during the war. The circumstances do not help me at all to build a home and have the wedding that my beloved desires. We have set our wedding date for the end of this month, and I want to save money for the occasion but the cost to buy food, gas, and basic necessities for living are imaginable. We deserve life.

I completed my secondary education and stopped due to the difficult living conditions and lack of educational facilities. I did learn hairdressing and worked in that field for a period. But there is no way to work under these conditions if you are able to spare anything to help us survive daily. Please. It helps us eat daily.
