Help Khaled Rebuild His Life: From Tent to Hope

Donation protected
My name is Emily Nasman from Minneapolis, Minnesota. I am organizing this gofundme on behalf of my friend Khaled Ayesh in Gaza, whom I met online in 2024. I am also close with his brother Mohammed, whom I talk with almost everyday. The Ayesh family has become extremely dear to me, my daughter and I taking every opportunity to video call when the internet is good.

Watching them go through this horrifying ordeal has been extremely hard, I worry everyday whether or not he has had anything to eat, enough clothing to keep him warm, or if his tent is holding up to the rain. Please help me help Khaled and his family, they are incredible people and deserve safety and dignity!

For transparency Khaled has also volunteered his ID. Please read his message:

“I am Khaled, 25 years old, from Palestine, living in the Gaza Strip. I used to live a quiet and happy life with my family, which consists of 6 members. We lived in our beautiful home, which was filled with love and support, and we dedicated all we had, both financially and with effort, to it. I completed my university studies in law with distinction and began practicing the profession. I had a big dream of building my own professional future and opening my independent business.

One morning, everything was shattered. The war destroyed our lives in Gaza, marking the beginning of the end for all my ambitions and dreams.

Today, after our home was completely destroyed, my family and I are living in a small tent that offers no protection from the cold winter or the scorching summer heat. We have gone through difficult experiences of constant displacement due to shelling and destruction, and we now live in a state of confusion and loss. I am now fighting just to survive, and my biggest struggle is providing the basic necessities for my family, with no stable source of income.

I write to you today, in desperate need of your help. I hope you will look at my situation with compassion and extend a helping hand to enable us to rebuild our lives and our future. Your assistance, no matter how small, can open doors of hope and give me a chance to live with dignity once again.

-Khaled”
