I am reaching out to you today with a heavy heart to ask for your support for a man and his family who have been deeply affected by the ongoing crisis in Gaza. This Gofundme is for my very close friend, Khaled Talal Shurab Molped, a 32-year-old father, husband, uncle, and kind-hearted man from Khan Yunis. I have known Khaled for many years and can fully attest for his honesty, genuinity, and his family's wholeheartedness. He has lost everything in the devastating conflict. His story is one of unimaginable grief and survival, and I hope you will consider helping him and his loved ones in their time of need.

Who is Khaled?

Khaled is a hardworking father and husband who, like many others in Gaza, was simply trying to build a better life for his family. Tragically, Khaled has suffered immense losses over the past year. His home was destroyed in an airstrike, leaving him and his family of 19 people—three families in total—without shelter. They are now living in tents in the already overcrowded Al-Mawasi area of Khan Yunis, struggling to survive each day amidst the devastation.

Khaled’s Heartbreaking Losses:

Khaled's life has been shattered. Most tragically, he recently lost his only daughter in the ongoing conflict. The pain of losing a child is unimaginable, and Khaled is now left to navigate the world without his precious little girl. His grief is compounded by the destruction of his home and the loss of his job.

Despite all this, Khaled and his wife recently welcomed a baby boy into the world—a small light in the darkness of war. However, the joy of his son’s birth is tempered by the overwhelming fear for his safety, the struggle to provide basic needs, and the constant threat of violence that looms over them all. Just yesterday (Dec 5th), Khaled's relatives were killed in an airstrike in Al-Mawasi - a bombing that struck too close to his newborn son and immediate family.

Why We Need Your Help:

Khaled's family is in urgent need of financial support. With no home, no income, and no safety, they are relying on the kindness of others to survive. The funds raised through this campaign will go directly to help Khaled and his family in the following ways:

Emergency Shelter: Providing tents, bedding, warm clothing for the winter months, and other essential supplies for the family to live in dignity, safety, and warmth.

Basic Necessities: Supplying food, water, clothing, diapers, and medical supplies for Khaled, his wife, and their 17 other family members.

Medical Aid: Many of Khaled’s family members have been injured in the bombing, and immediate medical attention is desperately needed.

Rebuilding Lives: Supporting Khaled’s efforts to rebuild his life, including providing aid for his new baby and helping him find some form of income during these incredibly difficult times.
