Help Khaled’s Family Survive Until Evacuation
Donation protected
This family’s campaign has been verified by Project Watermelon.
My name is Miyuki, and I am a mother living in Utah in the United States. I have been in contact with Khaled and his family for almost a year now.
He is a husband and father to three children, whose family has been displaced to Mawasi Khan Younis, after being displaced many, many times. His family has suffered immensely, and is looking for any relief to better survive and eventually evacuate to Egypt when the opportunity comes.
Here is Khaled’s message:
My name is Khaled Abu Kharis and my wife is Alaa Abu Kharis and I have 3 children: Eileen, 6 years old, Rakan, 5 years old, and Mahmoud, 3 years old. We lived in our house in Jabalia camp in the northern Gaza Strip. My house was bombed, and I left because it had become uninhabitable. I currently live in a tent in Rafah. That's why I want to go to Egypt to save my children's lives. The only way out is the Rafah crossing. I have to register and pay a fee of $7,000 per person. I want me, my wife, and my children to stay alive. I hope you will help me protect my family now. I ask everyone to donate to me on the link, and thank you for your humanity with us ❤️
Detailed plan of fund usage to ensure a secure departure out of Gaza for Khaled and his family:
- $35,000 for permits and crossing fees, intended to facilitate covering the expenses associated with obtianing permits to leave Gaza and the crossing fees requesred at the Egypt-Gaza border in Rafa (about $7,000 per person)
- $5,000 for immediate support to cover basic needs and necessities during the transitional period of evacuating from Gaza.
- $2,000 to offset GoFundMe's transaction fees

Thank you for your time, any of your support and donations will make such a difference for Khaled and his family to survive and escape this genocide ❤️
