Hi, my name is Khabirah Omogun and on Sunday, July 18, 2021 I contracted Covid-19 virus. I was instructed to quarantine for 14 days. Though it has been very challenging, by day 8 of quarantine on July 27, I was rushed to Wellstar Cobb Hospital where I discovered that my oxygen levels were extremely low. I had been in the hospital for 7 days and thought that I was getting better. At this time I also discovered that my daughter contracted covid as well. I was finally released from Wellstar Cobb Hospital and finally home for 2 days. Only to my surprise, on August 5th, 2021 when I went in for my follow up check up appointment I had to be rushed out by an ambulance to go right back to Wellstar Cobb Hospital for the second time because it’s been beyond challenging to breathe without struggling. I have since been told that after an emergency cat scan and ultrasound that I have a blood clot in my bottom right calve which is contributing to my inability to breathe. So while I am remaining encouraged and full of faith that I will eventually be able to go home and get back to work again soon, I simply ask for any financial support, emotional support and your prayers at this very difficult time. It’s not like me at all to ever ask for help in the financial area but God has placed it on my heart to reach out as my medical bills continue to overflow out of my control. To all of you who have reached out with loving words and prayers via my Instagram and Facebook, thank you from the bottom of my heart. I love you guys!
