Help Kenzie walk again

Back in August 2019 while playing slo pitch for fun a sports injury occurred that would lead down a path of learning something new and change the course of the future. While stealing a base on a pop fly KG attempted to slide into second base injuring herself with at first what she thought to be a simple ankle sprain, the following weeks she would realize this was not like any ankle sprain she had before. KG continued to push through working for 2 weeks on crutches after her injury before having to choose to go on leave due to the level of pain which she was experiencing in her bones and the amount of swelling in her left foot.

After a quick one off suggestion of possible CRPS she would push to find what was wrong ultimately after 6 months being diagnosed with CRPS that went along with her physical injuries (peroneal nerve damage, focal anterior talofibular ligament tear, bone bruising of the tibiotalar joint and edema of the medial malleolus). Unfortunately her time in physio was cut short in February of 2020 due to covid and would impact her healing and access to help.

Around the 2 year mark she came across a clinic that had experienced a success rate of 84% recovery long term from CRPS but was not a realistic option at the time. Now at almost 4 years she sees the opportunity to be able to go to the Spero Clinic in Arkansas and get back to a normal (or as normal as it can get) life.

That's where this fundraiser comes in, the cost to go is ~3k per week usd and also requires for housing, food and other treatment costs (machines, blood tests, etc) to be covered along with expenses still at home. The program on average is about 12 weeks long but can go longer depending on treatment.

At current KG can only get around on crutches due to swelling, pain, and immobility of toes in her left foot/ankle. As well experiences daily limitations on basic activities and is unable to attend work which she hopes to be able to do after treatment.
