Help us raise $8,000.00 to improve the outdoor playground and learning environment at Keystone Learning Academy!

Keystone Learning Academy is an independent nonprofit agency founded in 1974 with a mission to provide safe, loving, and high-quality childcare to families in need. For more than 50 years, Keystone has remained committed to serving children and families in our community, with these goals continuing to guide our work today.

Keystone Learning Academy is licensed by the Commonwealth of Kentucky and holds one of the oldest active childcare licenses in Jefferson County. We are accredited by the National Accreditation Commission (NAC) of the Association for Early Learning Leaders and are a 4-Star center through the Kentucky ALL STARS quality rating and improvement system. Keystone provides full-year childcare services for infants through preschool-aged children.

Our playground is a very special part of our program. Keystone is proud to have one of only three certified Nature Explore playgrounds in Kentucky. Our outdoor classroom gives children the opportunities to experience nature, use their imaginations, develop physical skills, and learn through hands-on play.

Children can dig in the sand, cook in our mud kitchen, explore our rock pit, help care for garden beds, create art, make music, ride along our bike trail, and climb and balance on natural features.

But this special outdoor space needs continued care and improvements.

Our Goal Is $8,000.00

We are asking our families, friends, former Keystone families, local businesses, and community members to help us raise $8000 to put directly toward improvements to our playground and outdoor learning environment.

Your donation can help us:

-Improve and refresh existing play areas

-Add new nature-based learning materials

-Improve garden and outdoor classroom spaces

-Replace or repair worn equipment and materials

-Create additional opportunities for active and imaginative play

-Keep our outdoor environment safe, inviting, and engaging

Every dollar makes a difference. If you can't donate, please share our fundraiser. Your share could reach someone who has a special connection to Keystone or simply believes that every child deserves a wonderful place to play, explore, and learn.

Our children deserve the same quality of outdoor experiences as children anywhere else, and the community can help make that happen.

Help us make sure Keystone's Nature Explore Outdoor Classroom continues to be one of those special places.

Please help us reach our $8000.00 goal!

Thank you for supporting Keystone Learning Academy and the children and families we serve.
