I am a 21 year old self employed student who lives In Los Angeles. I was born completely deaf. At 8months old I had surgery for a Cochlear Implant on my left ear. (A hearing device for completely profound hearing loss)

Last night on April 7th, I was assaulted by four perpetrators and beaten on my face and head. I was knocked unconscious and developed a concussion, I also had to receive stitches on my eyebrow. My hearing device was completely broken and distroyed. I cannot work or hear at the moment and I need all the help to get me back on my feet. I did not deserve this or expect it, so anything you can spare would be so greatly appreciated.

I have filed a police report for the incident and actions have been taken to an extent. 

I have a picture of my hearing device provided. You can see I am missing multiple pieces.
