Help Kevin's fight for freedom!

After 4 years of emotional, financial and physical abuse, I am fighting for my freedom from a narcissistic relationship, that has left me financially vulnerable, and reliant upon the charitable support of my friends. Over the past 7 months, I have been attempting, via a solicitor, to negotiate a financial settlement and divorce with my ex-husband. However, my attempts at fair and civilised negotiation have been rejected at every turn. I am now faced with the prospect of pressing forward with formal court proceedings. With my savings exhausted, I cannot afford the £30,000 needed for further professional representation, on which I have relied up until this point.

During the formal process, as my only recourse I have chosen to self-litigate, with background support provided by my incredible solicitor. I am asking for your help with raising funds to engage a junior barrister who specialises in family law. It will then be their role to represent me against my abuser in formal court proceedings, without this I would be forced into the terrifying prospect of a face to face, court based interrogation by myself.
