My name is Kevin, a devoted son of a caring and loving father. We had life insurance that got modified without our knowledge, and it didn't go our way. Despite the challenges, my dad always ensured that we had a roof over our heads, no matter the situation. He tried his best to raise me and my brother, even though he came from a tough background. He was a man of resilience, a loving father, a brother, my friend who never gave up. He was a husband to my mom, and despite the occasional fights, he always managed to keep the family together. Sadly, he passed away in room 13 on September 13th after fighting through the pain of stage 4 cancer. He endured so much, undergoing countless painful treatments, and I know he did it all for us. This fundraiser would mean the world to my mom and me. My dad never wanted to leave a burden on us, and he is not. He is in peace now, and I am committed to doing my best to take care of everything I can.
