Help Kevin's Children Create A Lasting Memory.

My daughter, Arizona, is almost 6 years old and is such a daddy’s girl.

Unfortunately, the month after our beautiful daughter turned 3 years old her dad received a devastating diagnosis of ALS. There is currently no cure for ALS and it is a deteriorative disease that is slowly taking Kevin’s mobility and time away not only him, but his 5 adoring children as well. His eldest daughter is old enough to recognize what is happening and is a huge help to her mom, Kevin’s supportive wife Samantha, at home caring for Kevin and her younger siblings. Arizona and her younger 3 siblings are too young to understand what is happening to their daddy but they do notice that daddy cannot hold them and play with them like he used to. Kevin was born to be a father. When it comes to his children, nothing short of ALS could stop him from giving his children the absolute world and he never thought twice about it.

My fiancée, Taylor, myself and Samantha are trying to find a way to raise the money to take both our little families to an accessible beach this fall to spend a week away from all of the noise and sadness for a memorable few extra moments with Kevin in a place that’s so beautiful we don’t have the time to worry about what’s coming next. With everything going on in both families lives it just isn’t possible for us to fund this on our own and we, sadly, simply don’t have time to waste to make this grand adventure happen. We would love to be able to get a vacation rental that’s completely accessible for Kevin and for Sam to care for Kevin while we are there. We would also be renting a large transit van and taking turns driving to our destination to avoid airports or non-accessible obstacles.

If you cannot donate, we just ask that you pray for Kevin and for Samantha but mostly for the 5 children he has stayed so strong for.

To add: If we do not raise enough funds for the vacation or if it becomes medically unsafe for Kevin to travel to the beach- all donations raised will be used for medical devices to help Kevin in his day to day life and medical equipment for Samantha to more easily care for Kevin.
