Help Kevin Win His Battle with Kidney Disease

Hi. My name is Jennifer Blackwell and I am writing this on behalf of my brother Kevin G. Blackwell. For close to 4 years my brother has been awaiting a kidney transplant while he is in stage 5 renal failure. Sadly, I can not donate my own kidney given that I am a diabetic. Following a routine gastric sleeve surgery to assist him in becoming a more viable candidate for the nationwide kidney transplant list, Kevin fell into cardiac arrest. He did not breathe for over 30 minutes because the hospital doctors and nurses struggled to revive him. Kevin fell into a coma. He spent 4 months in the hospital fighting to live. Miraculously, Kevin survived this ordeal but not without significant damage to his brain and voice, which is unfortunate because Kevin made his living as a reputable speaker, spiritual teacher and counselor

Currently Kevin continues to live while on kidney dialysis three times a week. His motor skills are poor given the brain damage and dialysis is taxing on his body. He suffers from low blood pressure on dialysis days making just walking to his door after driving home an exhausting and precarious event, especially in the Las Vegas heat, where he lives. Needless to say, given Kevin's multiple disabilities, he is unable to work, though he spends his time completing a nonfiction book about his spiritual journey. He lives alone and needs help with daily activities and medical expenses. I have tried to assist him in every way that I can,  but we are 2600 miles apart.

I desperately want to see my brother live so he can receive a kidney transplant, which is vital for his survival and will enable him to continue his work, uplifting and enlightening others. It is vital for his survival. any donation would be greatly appreciated. Thank you and God bless.
