I'm Kevin, an 11th-grade student-athlete at a New York City Public School in the South Bronx. Whether it’s on the fencing strip or basketball court, in the classroom or in life, I work very hard to be successful and expand my horizons. I need your help to pursue an amazing opportunity through my school: to travel to Italy for 8 unforgettable days in February 2026. This would be my first time traveling abroad. This is a chance to step outside my neighborhood and see the world with my own eyes.
Here’s a glimpse of what I’ll get to experience:
- Venice: riding a gondola through the canals, seeing glass-blowing in action, and walking through St. Mark’s Square and the Vatican.
- Florence and Pisa: exploring the art and history of Florence and standing in front of the world-famous Leaning Tower of Pisa.
- Rome: touring the Colosseum, walking through the Roman Forum, and seeing the Sistine Chapel with my own eyes.
The funds that I raise will be going towards flights and accommodations and will go directly to the school and the company that is organizing this trip.
I’ve learned discipline, teamwork, and focus as an athlete, and I know those same qualities will help me make the most of my time in Italy. But I can’t do it alone—I need your help. I appreciate every contribution, but if you're not in a position to donate financially, even just sharing my story would bring me closer to making this dream a reality.
With your support, I’ll be able to walk through the streets of Italy, experience its culture firsthand, and come back with a new perspective that I’ll carry for the rest of my life.
