“In that moment, I felt worried I had lost him,” Kevin Conklin's mother said. When he came through the other side, she was amazed by his bravery and selflessness.
     
 “The actions of the 16 year old were heroic,” a local official said. “He is to be commended for putting himself in danger.”……. There are the some photos and video to remember the moments after his heroic feat.

  "This boy already has a responsibility for communities and always very kind."  Says Lucy, a teacher at Kevin’s school.  His high school guidance counselor wrote to him , "You are such an incredible young man and I am so glad to be working with you. I just want you to know that I am proud and you are awesome!
       
 “Help Kevin Conklin  Go to College and Get His Phone Back Fundraiser! ” is taking people's suggestions rewarding Kevin, with more than 890 feedbacks.  There are people who want to donate  for Kevin's college and a new phone.  Many people called and emailed to the Morning Call newspaper.  

   Based on people’s requests,  AutismGuardians' team on behalf of Kevin's mom set up a fundraising on gofundme.com. called  “ Help Heroic Teenager for College and Get His iPhone Back !”.
   
  Soon next year after Kevin needs funds for College.  Kevin said , "that will be nice if I have enough money to pay tuition."  He  wants to go to Lehigh University for Engineering.  He's also interested in life in the ocean and already knows a lot about that.  He also may study marine biology and bio engineering is another option. 
    
     Kevin stuiesy hard in high school. He is currently taking honor roll classes, 11th grade; his GPA is 4.07.  He is in the swimming team, school band , cross country, rifle club and  robotic club.

      "Kids love Kevin,  Kevin loves working with kids," an elementary teacher said,  on Parents' Day.   Kevin has been work on a charity for autism children on kickstart for while, Called AutismGuardians , Kevin spends his free time to help this autism charity to set up. 
      
      In community services, Kevin is a volunteer at the National Museum of Industrial History,  and has helped in other events such as a school fair.  He's helped churches with their fund raising. He’s also helped his mom run summer camps as a camp assistant for 5 summers. He currently holds an America Red Cross Certification.

           Life hasn’t been easy for the mother and son. Kevin's mom has raised him as a single mom ever since her husband died in a car accident in 2008.  She has worked jobs with flexible hours to care for him. 
     
         Your donation will indeed help him with his college tuition and  his passionate charity. Your money will raise a community helper through college education. We believe he will give back to the community. We believe he can help kids more in many situations.  As you can see he has already achieved something.
    
        Overall he is a good student, described as humble, kind, brave, responsibile, and a hard working young man.  Your donations are very important for Kevin's college . Your donation can help him become educated and achieve more.
