Our family is asking for your support for our beloved husband, father, and friend, Kevin Sylvia. Recently, Kevin was diagnosed with Stage 4 Primary Squamous Cell Carcinoma of the Nasopharynx—a rare and aggressive form of cancer.

Kevin will soon begin an intense treatment plan that includes radiation and advanced chemotherapy. His doctors expect that he will be out of work for at least a year, possibly longer, as he focuses entirely on fighting this disease.

For years, Kevin has been the backbone of our household, working as a bus driver for SRTA and previously spending decades as a skilled mechanic. He’s the kind of person who never hesitates to lend a hand—whether it’s fixing a neighbor’s car, helping a friend in need, or simply being there with a smile and a laugh.

Now, Kevin is the one who needs our help. With him unable to work, our family is facing not only the emotional toll of his diagnosis but also the financial strain of everyday expenses, medical bills, and travel for treatments.
