Kevin Stephens is loving husband and father, as well as a dedicated Firefighter/EMT with MMT and the New Carlisle Fire Division. Kevin was promoted to the position of Lieutenant at NCFD earlier this year, and has a passion for training the newer/younger members of the division. Family is his first priority, but he is always the first to lend a helping hand in his community. More than once he has assisted members of the community even after his shift is finished, fixing appliances and doing other tasks for people he encountered during calls. He always thinks of himself last, and gives every ounce of his energy to help and support his community and those he loves.

On 10/5, Kevin was taken to a local hospital with stroke-like symptoms. He was kept in the hospital following a CT. This morning (10/7) he began to experience seizures, leading to an admission into the neuro ICU. It’s unknown how long he will be in the ICU and he is being kept under sedation until further tests can be run to explain his current symptoms
