Kevin Standish, has always been the kind of person who would give the shirt off his back to help someone in need. A hardworking man through and through, Kevin has spent his life doing whatever he can for others—whether it was family, friends, or even strangers. Now, he’s the one who needs a helping hand.

For over a month, Kevin has been unable to work due to severe back pain. Despite seeking medical help, and being admitted into the hospital 4 times, doctors have told him there’s nothing they can do, leaving him in constant pain and struggling to make ends meet. Then, this past Saturday night, things took a turn for the worse when Kevin suffered a heart attack. He was rushed to the hospital, where doctors placed a stent to restore blood flow. Thankfully, he is now stable, but he still needs another stent, which will have to be done as an outpatient procedure—adding even more medical bills to an already overwhelming situation. Kevin is a 1099 employee and is not eligible for work benefits including medical insurance, if he does not work, he simply does not get paid, so everything so far will have to be paid for out of pocket.

Kevin has always been the rock of his family, working hard to provide and never hesitating to step up when someone needed him.
