Help Kevin Smile Again: Urgent Dental Surgery

Hello everyone, my name is Sharlyne Durham and I am writing to you on behalf of my husband Kevin. My husband and I have been together for the past seven years and in that time, he’s been a wonderful, hardworking husband and father, doing his best to provide for his family. For those of you that know Kevin, you will always see him smiling and doing his best to make others happy. He would give a stranger the shirt off his back. Anyone that meets him would never believe that on a daily basis he is in constant pain and fights with bouts of depression due to the fact that he is in urgent need of extensive dental work. We have tried to apply for grants and go to low cost dental clinics but none of this have panned out. For a few years now I have tried different avenues to help him and this is pretty much our last resort. It’s affecting his jaws and his gum line. He pretty much wakes up every day with a mouthful of blood, and this in turn is causing other medical issues for him. He has seen a gastroenterologist, and they advised that he must get his teeth fixed before we can address his gastro issues. Sometimes he is in so much pain he cannot get out of bed for days. We do have dental insurance, but as you know, dental insurance covers a very limited amount, especially when you need extensive dental work. The total cost of the work is upwards of about $15,000 to cover it and completely take everything out of his mouth and get reconstruction and new teeth put in. If you could find it in the kindness of your heart to donate whatever you can to help us. My family needs my husband around, especially for our four beautiful children. We want him to be able to live a long, healthy life, and these dental issues have definitely caused so much heartache in our lives.
