Help Kevin Shambaugh Battle Hodgkin's Lymphoma

To everyone who knows Kevin Shambaugh, this heartbreaking news will come as a complete and unexpected shock; just like it did to his family and friends.

Kevin is an incredible person, husband, father, brother, son and friend. He is someone who has positively impacted the lives of everyone who knows him. His kindness, loyalty, generosity, and unwavering spirt is a light to everyone who has ever met him. 

On November 15, 2024, Kevin was diagnosed with Stage 3 Hodgkin's lymphoma. Since his diagnosis, he has been admitted to Stanford Hospital. His symptoms have progressively gotten worse, and the cancer has spread and is now affecting multiple areas. He has spent the last two weeks away from home, fighting this aggressive illness. He is currently admitted to Stanford, undergoing unexpected complications.

The Shambaugh's would never ask for help or support. His wife is my best friend, and I feel helpless listening to what she’s going through, and I would do anything to help them. This is my way of helping. Some of you will probably ask, the same way I did, how I can help them? How can I support them? or what I can do to make life a little easier for him, for his family. I know in my heart that both Kevin and Melissa would do the same for many of us, if we were in their situation, with no hesitation.

Kevin will require ongoing chemotherapy treatments at Stanford for many months to come. Which means he will need to travel frequently for his care and will be off of work. Travel cost, insurmountable medical bills, ongoing chemotherapy treatments and all other expenses will be financially straining, to say the least.

 To Kevin, Melissa and their 2 beautiful sons, all we want to do is ease your financial burden so you can focus on what truly matters, Kevin's health and recovery. We can’t stop this cancer, but we can give you comfort and support when you need it the most. We love you, we are here, #ShambaughStrong.
