Make Kevin’s home accessible

*update 5/21 - we had a family meeting at Spaulding today. Dad will be coming home (possibly in late June/ early July) in a wheelchair, hopefully temporarily we will need to install a ramp and remodel bathroom and do other repairs to make the home accessible for him to live in

*update 4/27 - dad is now back in rehab at Spaulding. Looking at a 6-8 week stay before coming home. He’s had a few setbacks the last couple weeks so hoping to be in the right direction now.

**Update 4/11 - Dad was rushed back into the OR last night for more decompressing of his spinal cord. They were able to extract some fluid to do testing. He is in the Neuro ICU and on a ventilator. They are keeping him on the breathing machine because he may go back in for a procedure on his thoat. We are waiting for the team to consult, please continue praying

hello all. Raising funds for my father Kevin Downey. He was rushed from Salem Hospital to MGH in Boston due to a chest/neck infection. He has limited movement in his hands. He is now just getting out of the ICU and into a regular room. He will have a long road of recovery. Any funds will help with hospital bills and at home expenses.

** update - diagnosed with Osteomyelitis of the cervical spine and a retropharyngeal space infection. Requires 6-8 weeks IV antibiotics which they placed a PICC line in him. Will be heading to Spaulding Rehab
