On July 18 Kevin experienced a car accident that shook his world. The injuries were nothing short of devastating - a shattered C2 and broken C3, many many broken ribs, and a lung that required a chest tube. But as I’m sure many of you know and his surgeon said after leaving the OR “Kevin is the luckiest son of a bitch I’ve ever met.” Kevin has maintained fully functionality in his body and was even walking the day after surgery.

These injuries will still take months of physical therapy and life adjustments. We are hoping to raise funds to cover what at this point will be unknown medical expenses, loss of income for recovery and his source of transportation.

Kevin is an extremely active single dad to 6 year old Kennedy. In addition to a personality that randomly decides to run a marathons, soak up the sun and being the life of the party, he has unmatched stubbornness and determination that someone needs to get back on their feet; so let’s help him out.

He’s eager to get back to running with his son, niece and nephew, taking charge as President of Texas Lutheran Universities alumni board and live life to the fullest.
