Help Kevin Rebuild After Hurricane Melissa

My name is Elesia, and I am a personal friend and neighbor of Kevin Hosang. I also live in Montego Bay, Jamaica, but when Hurricane Melissa struck, I was in the U.S. witnessing from afar the devastation it brought to my home and community. I know how difficult it is to rebuild after such destruction—especially without any source of income.

The funds from this campaign will be used to help Kevin and his family with essentials like food, daily necessities, and support as they begin to restore a sense of normalcy and rebuild their lives.

Kevin has spent over 30 years as a tour operator, proudly sharing the beauty and culture of Jamaica with visitors from around the world. Sadly, the recent catastrophic Category 5 Hurricane Melissa brought unimaginable devastation to the island—especially in the areas Kevin serves: Montego Bay, Westmoreland, St. Elizabeth, Trelawny, and St. Ann.

The destruction has left Kevin without work and without any source of income. Tourism—his livelihood—has come to a complete halt.

Kevin has always been a giver. Even when times were tough, he found ways to help others—sharing jobs with fellow drivers so they could make ends meet, even if it meant earning less himself. He’s a man of faith, always trusting that God will provide.

Now, Kevin and his family need our help. They’ve lost so much, and the road to rebuilding won’t be easy. Every donation, no matter how small, will go directly to Kevin to help him and his family recover and rebuild their lives.
