Hi everyone,

My name is Kevin, and this is one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to write. Just over a year ago, I was diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer — words no one ever expects to hear. What followed was a long, painful, and life-altering journey through chemotherapy, radiation, and countless hospital visits. While I’m incredibly grateful to say that I made it through treatment and am now in remission, the fight has left me with something I wasn’t prepared for: a mountain of medical debt and financial hardship that has completely upended my life.

During treatment, I wasn’t able to work consistently. The toll that cancer took on my body and my energy made it impossible to maintain the pace and focus that my career requires. As the medical bills piled up — from specialists, hospital stays, medications, and ongoing tests — I did what I could to stay afloat. I used my savings, maxed out my credit cards, and borrowed where I could. But cancer doesn’t just drain your health — it drains everything.

Now that I’m on the other side of the fight for my life, I find myself facing another battle: trying to recover financially. The debt I’ve accumulated is overwhelming, and despite my best efforts to catch up, the sheer volume of bills and interest has made it impossible to move forward. I’m doing my best to rebuild, but it feels like I’m constantly digging out of a hole that just keeps getting deeper.

I’ve always prided myself on working hard, helping others when I could, and not asking for help. But at this point, I’ve realized that I can’t do this alone. So I’m reaching out — humbly and with hope — to ask for your support.

Every donation, no matter how small, will go directly toward:

• Paying off the medical bills and treatment debt that continue to accumulate.

• Covering basic living expenses as I work to get back on my feet.

• Funding ongoing follow-up care and medications needed to stay healthy.
