Help Kevin Powell Keep His Home and Health
Donation protected
Kevin Powell is a 59-year-old devoted son, brother, and father of four children who is fighting the battle of his life, Stage 4 throat cancer and lymphoma. He went in for a routine physical nine years ago when his primary care physician assessed his ears, nose, and throat. His physician became concerned and immediately sent him for additional screening, where he was diagnosed. He has battled this disease for nine years since being diagnosed. As a result of a previous physician's negligence, the cancer had quickly spread and advanced to Stage 4 and then lymphoma. Kevin has maintained a positive outlook and remains optimistic.
He began receiving treatment from qualified and compassionate physicians who are passionate about saving his life. He has undergone several invasive surgeries over the years, with the last one to his neck and back that lasted 6+ hours.
He suffered 2 strokes last year, which has impacted him severely with returning to work to provide for his well-being. He is at the point of losing his home he has lived at for the last 28 years.
He has been unable to work for several years due to disability. His disability and SSD benefits are simply not enough to cover expenses. His bills and medical costs are escalating, resulting in his inability to meet his minimal and basic needs (housing, meals, treatment, and prescriptions). His monthly chemotherapy treatments are 1.5 hours away, which requires gas to travel, making it extremely challenging to obtain his life-saving treatment.
If you are able to make a donation to assist my brother, please do so at the link below. Our family is extremely grateful for your assistance. Every donation helps, and if you cannot donate, please share this story with others who might, and please keep him in prayer. Thank you to everyone who reads, donates, shares, or prays for him and his family.
