Help Kevin pay medical bills & get back to work
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Kevin Wilde. For the past few months, I've poured my efforts and life savings into building my own bike shop. Wild Yonder Cyclery opened on March 2nd, 2024. A grassroots bike shop, dedicated to serving the local riding community. 10 days later, I had an accident on a trampoline resulting in fractured vertebrae.
Thankfully, I won't need surgery and I'm able to walk and stand. However, mobility is limited and I'm not able to lift anything heavier than 10 lbs for at least 6 weeks.
Without a source of income or health insurance, I could really use your help paying hospital bills and purchasing a motorized bicycle repair stand (https://www.parktool.com/en-us/product/power-lift-shop-stand-prs-33-2). The new stand will take away all of the work of lifting bikes, and allow me to resume tuning and repairing again. Additionally, it will help prevent injury for myself and future staff when working on today's heavier e-bikes.
Any funds that may exceed the cost of my directly associated medical bills and new repair stand will be donated to the Viewmont High, Bountiful High, and Woods Cross High NICA Mountain Bike Teams.
Thank you so much
