I would like to share a little about my union brother and friend Kevin Lahue He is a father and husband who could use some help to give his kids the holidays they deserve. The family's nightmare began in July when Kevin suffered a serious heart event that required hospitalization and forced him off work for an extended recovery period.

​Just as he was finally cleared to return to work and start rebuilding their finances, tragedy struck again. Kevin was involved in a terrible, life-altering accident while on the job, resulting in the devastating loss of three fingers.

​He is now facing a painful and complex road to recovery, requiring multiple surgeries, and extensive rehabilitation. Kevin's ability to return to his former occupation is uncertain, making the financial outlook terrifying. With the primary earner unable to work, the stress of providing a warm and happy holiday season for his two children—who have endured months of watching their father struggle—is immense.
