Kevin is a single father raising four children—Jeffery (10), Anna (8), Johnny (5), and Kimberly (3)—on his own. Their family has already endured heartbreak, losing their mother shortly after Kimberly was born. Since then, Kevin has worked tirelessly to provide stability, protection, and a loving home for his children.
Recently, Kevin’s world was turned upside down when the company he worked for filed for bankruptcy, leaving him unemployed without warning. He’s been applying for jobs daily and is willing to work anything available, but as many know, bills don’t pause when life falls apart. Kevin is now facing overdue rent, mounting late fees, and the threat of eviction, all while trying to keep utilities on and his family safe.
This is one of the hardest things Kevin has ever had to do—ask for help from strangers. But he would rather reach out than risk his children losing the only home where they feel safe. His oldest son Jeffery is starting to understand more than Kevin wishes he had to, Anna tries to help her younger siblings, Johnny still believes dad will fix everything, and Kimberly is too young to understand why Kevin stays up all night worrying. They already lost their mother; Kevin is determined to make sure they don’t lose their home too.
If someone is in a position to make a larger donation, it would truly change our situation immediately and give my family breathing room while I rebuild. If not, smaller donations and even shares mean just as much.
My goal is simple:
To stabilize my home, return to work, and continue raising my children the right way.
If you choose to help my family, please know you are not just paying bills — you are giving four children stability and giving a father the chance to keep his word.
Thank you for taking the time to read our story and for any kindness you choose to show my family during this difficult chapter of our lives.
