Help Kevin Heal From Violent Injury

Donation protected
This past Tuesday evening, my brother Kevin was leaving his office downtown and heading to the light rail when someone rode a Lyft scooter at a high speed past him on the sidewalk, nearly clipping him.
Kevin shouted angrily to get off the sidewalk. This psycho jumped off the scooter, assaulted Kevin, then scooted away to continue endangering unassuming commuters downtown.
Kevin staggered back to his office, thinking he had a dislocated shoulder. He was in terrible pain and actually asked his building's security guard to yank on his arm to fix this "dislocation." The security guard told Kev he would absolutely not do that, a hero. Thank you, wise and sensible security staff member.
In the midst of this conversation, a coworker saw him in the lobby in agony and sprang into action. She called his emergency contacts and drove him to the hospital, where I met up with him in the process of diagnosing what would turn out to be a profoundly nasty complex fracture of his right humerus bone.
This was a unbelievably painful experience for Kevin, and he now has a long road back to recovery.

Kevin is a hard working legal administrator by day, but his soul's passion is gardening. He specializes in gorgeous heirloom tomatoes, grown in his perfectly tended garden. He is also a plant-medicine advocate, and was saving capital for an entrepreneurial project in Denver's recently approved psilocybin industry. He is a skateboarder into his 30s, an organic chef, a hiker and hunter and fisherman, and an avid exerciser / healthy person. Basically, this is his nightmare.

This being America, a random act of violence could potentially financially ruin the victim.
We are going to take all legal action to get these bills paid for him, and are asking for the help of those who care about Kevin to chip in for recovery money. He will need to take time off work, need physical and occupational therapy, and is grieving financial setback as well as his health.
All funds are for Kevin's rehabilitation and to support him as he heals from this terrible bad luck.

We are profoundly grateful.

Look how buff and handsome he still looks, raw-dogging a splintered bone. Ladies of Denver, he is single .

Please support what you can and reach out to Kev with a message of support. He won't know about the fundraiser until after it is live so he can't say no.

Thank you all so very much!
Kathleen (and Bridget, Eileen, Josh, Adam, and the children and dogs)
