Hi, this is hard for me to make. My name is Kevin Aguirre, I'm a filmmaker in Los Angeles and recently was involved in a hit-and-run accident. In many ways, this has been a great year for work and opportunities, but sometimes random emergencies happen, and this is one of those times.

I've spent a lot of time the last few years working my butt off, both paid and unpaid, to serve my community because I love this art. I help local artists make videos/content, I shoot events, parties, weddings, music videos, shows, anything and everything.

At the time of the accident, I was recording an event for the school college district at Kevin Hart's studio. I was there for 3 hours and street parked my car. While recording, my parked car was hit and run by another vehicle. Stressed tf out, I called the police and they asked me to submit a police report, but mainly said they can't even investigate if no one is there to testify, so the guy got away. My insurance is refusing to cover it as well.

I've been trying to keep work up, but I can't travel with my gear on public transportation, though I've been doing as much as I can the last couple of months. I still make car payments on it too.

But I'm just trying to get it drivable again so I can continue my grind and helping my community. I want to make a lot more projects, but this has slowed me down a lot.

If you are capable and want to help, anything will help. I'll try to figure as much out on my own as I can. I make enough usually to make ends meet, but not enough for a freak accident no one expected.
