Hi, I am a friend of Kevin Hancock and he had an accident May 18, 2022. He was on his tractor trying to move a tree after a storm. Something went wrong, and the tractor popped a wheelie and part of the tree begin to beat against his arm, and he was stuck unable to move as the tree continued to beat his arm and smash it. He normally wore boots when he did tractor work, but that morning he had for some reason put on a pair of flip-flops. If not for God and those flip-flops, he might not have survived. The position that he was in he was able to kick his flip-flop off his foot and turn the tractor off with his toes, and then put the tractor in neutral. They wrapped his crushed arm around his neck and he was life flighted to Vanderbilt Hospital, where he would spend the next several weeks. He has had four surgeries for the amputation of his left arm since the date of the accident. He has to travel back-and-forth between Nashville Tennessee, and Corinth, Mississippi several times a week for physical therapy from his home in Michie Tennessee. The good news is he has great spirits. He has such a sense of humor and he’s doing his best and this accident has only increased his faith in our God his Lord and Savior They have created a $80,000 bionic arm for him . After insurance there is still a fee of $7500 to be paid out of pocket. I’m asking for money to be raised for his gas expenses his overnight stays his meals and money for his new arm. He always needs prayers as well. God Bless y’all and thank y’all in advance!
