Hi, my name is Kevin Cheng and I'm a Taiwanese actor and playwright living in New York City. I'm reaching out today to ask for your support to secure my O-1 Artist Visa.

This visa will allow me to stay in the U.S. for the next 3 years and continue my dream of telling meaningful stories through theatre and films.

After completing my training at HB Studio last winter, I was granted a 1 year working visa. This 1 year working visa is now coming to an end, and what a year it's been. I've been fortunate to perform my own plays at theaters across the city, including The Chain Theatre, Brooklyn Art Haus, The Players Theatre, East Village Basement, Gene Frankel Theatre, A.R.T./New York, and Secret Theatre.

I've co-written an audio drama, and starred in my first Taiwanese feature film. I joined Purple Light Productions as their New Works Development Chair, and Murmuration Theatre Company as an Administrative Producer. Recently I also started my playwriting residency at Woodward Residency, alongside many incredible screenwriters, playwrights, and musicians.
