Help Kevin Fight Stage 4 Mantle Cell Lymphoma

It is with a heavy heart to share some uneasy news. A few weeks ago, Kevin was diagnosed with Stage 4 Mantle Cell Lymphoma. In June he started to have pain and swollen Lymph nodes in his groin area, and after a Colonoscopy and Endoscopy they found multiple cancerous polyps, a tumor on the Ileocecal valve and confirmed activity in multiple Lymph nodes. Mantle Cell Lymphoma (MCL) is a rare aggressive type of B-cell non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. We are working with his Oncologist Team and his Functional Medicine Holistic Doctor to come up with the best treatment plan possible. He will start treatment the first week of November, but there are a few factors at play. We are also waiting for a Genetic marker to come back, TP53, which indicates if he will respond to the first line of treatment. If positive, we will have to switch gears with a different treatment plan. If negative, we continue the first line followed with a Bone Marrow Transplant. We are prepared to try whatever possible!

As we all know, Kevin is the most selfless man. The most amazing husband and Father to Kaden(19) and Lilliana(7). The best brother and son, a great friend. Everyone knows and jokes to “just call Kev”. He always has the answer. He’s always there to talk, help or take on a new project. He is just simply the best. I always say everyone needs a Kevin in their life, and we are so lucky he is in ours!

Kevin will be out of work on disability starting in November. Everyone keeps asking what they can do to help and this is a way to show support if it’s possible for you to do so. Please pray, send an encouraging random text, even come visit if you want! Being away from Kaden, family and friends right now is really difficult for him.
