In 2020, my brother Kevin fought—and won—his battle with rectal cancer. It was a difficult journey (32 Radiations and 64 Oral Chemotherapies followed by eight systemic chemotherapy treatments). Still, he came out on top through sheer determination, strength, and the support of loved ones.
Now, just a few short years later, Kevin is facing a new and far more aggressive opponent: Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML). Tragically, this Leukemia was caused by the previous treatments.
He is currently undergoing intensive chemotherapy, and if all goes well, he will receive a stem cell transplant—a crucial next step in his treatment and his chance at recovery. This form of leukemia is fast-moving and relentless, and time is of the essence.
Kevin lives in the United States alone and faces this battle without his immediate family nearby. The physical, emotional, and financial toll of this second fight is enormous. While he’s focusing every ounce of energy on healing, the medical bills, treatment costs, travel, and living expenses are mounting quickly.
We are reaching out to ask for your support—no amount is too small. Every donation will help Kevin cover his medical costs and give him the peace of mind he needs to focus on what matters most: getting better.
If you’re unable to give, please consider sharing this page with your network. Your kindness, prayers, and support mean the world to us.
Let’s rally behind Kevin and show him he’s not alone in this war against his own body. He beat cancer once—and with your help, he can do it again.
