My name is Leslie, and I am organizing this GoFundMe on behalf of my brother and his family. Kevin is from Kalamazoo, Michigan. He is a strong, kind-hearted 49 year old father, son, brother, husband and grandfather who is now facing the biggest battle of his life – cancer.

This past April, Kevin was diagnosed with an aggressive, stage 4 form of cancer. While he has remained positive and determined to fight this head on, the reality is incredibly tough. Kevin is at the beginning stages of treatment that will start soon. He has undergone surgeries and tests, and is now scheduled for a rigorous treatment plan that includes more surgery and chemotherapy at a specialty center in Texas.

Because of the severity of his illness and time needed for treatment and recovery, Kevin was let go from his job. The financial burden of medical bills will soon become overwhelming.

On top of that, the cost of travel to go for treatment- lodging, meals, and time away.

Kevin has never asked for help from anyone for anything. Now, he needs our help. The funds raised through this GoFundMe will directly go toward
