Help Kevin Doherty get home for recovery

Hi,

Our dear friend Kevin Doherty suffered a stroke the beginning of November while he was in Arizona working as a traveling nurse. It will be a long and difficult process to gain back strength and mobility. We are trying to raise funds so he is able to come back to the Bay Area to recover, where he will have family and friends to help support him. He will need a medical transport to get here and unfortunately insurance won't cover those costs. Those who have been lucky enough to call Kevin their family, friend or co-worker know that he has a larger than life personality and will give you the shirt off his back when you need help. As a critical care RN he has been there to help so many patients over the years when they have found themselves in the scariest, most difficult times in their lives and now he needs the support of many. I'm hoping that we can help Kevin, when he requires it the most, so that he has the best chance of recovery. It is so difficult to be away from all your family and friends when faced with such an overwhelming health crisis.
