Help Kevin and Trisha Rebuild After Fire

Dearest Friends and Neighbors,

As you may have heard our close neighbors house in King's Valley caught fire on Saturday, July 13, 2024, and they lost everything!!

Their beautiful home has burnt to the ground.

Not only did they escape with only the clothes on their backs, they lost one of two dogs and two adorable house cats. There is nothing left to even salvage because the fire burned quick and hot and all is destroyed.

Our neighbors Kevin and Trisha have been conifer residents for many many years, living in King's Valley.

Kevin has had multiple surgerys over the years and has been on oxygen for quite some time. His use of oxygen also caused the fire to rage faster as oxygen tanks exploded. We almost lost Kevin to the fire.

Kevin and Trisha have gotten some help from Red Cross however that assistance will not last long. The couple was preparing a transition in their life to get to travel. With this for that dream has become very distant as they find how to get back on their feet and build back up what they lost.

We are praying to raise enough money to help them move into a decent/safe place from the temporary hotel they are in as an immidiate need. The Red Cross was helpful with their immediate need of a bed and a few essentials, but so much more is still needed.

Kevin and Trisha want to thank all of the first responders and close neighbors for all the love and support they have given. In this horrible tragedy, comes great kindness and compassion. "We send out a Thank you to Brandon, Human Resources at Target on Bowles, who was happy to help provide shoes and an outfit for us and a bone for our dog, Connery. A great big thank you to the officer first on site and to a close neighbor, Ryan Smith, for helping to pull Kevin from the flames and get us to safety." - Kevin & Trisha

The cause of the fire is still unknown.
