Tried to put this off for as long as possible, but it's been an extremely tumultuous last year or two for my girlfriend Lima and I, and we are in need of assistance for medical bills and rental fees for housing.

I have been laid off from 3 jobs in the last 12 months. Not for lack of trying, these were for financial circumstances within a rough economy. Since then I have applied to literally hundreds and hundreds of jobs, tweaked my resume, tried looking for work in old fields I used to work in, and just... nothing. I am still looking for new jobs and will continue to change my strategy, but simply put it's been an incredible strain on my mental health as well as my girlfriend's.

I also wear disposable contact lenses, and was not aware until this week that I need to see a doctor in order to get new lenses. I don't have glasses and cannot afford them either. Apparently I need to see the eye doctor in order to buy more contact lenses since my prescription has expired (not to mention I don't have insurance to cover this) so on top of everything, we could really just use assistance to get by during this very difficult time. I know it's rough out there and I know you may be struggling too. We will take whatever you're able and willing to give. Thank you.
