Help Kevin and Eric Rebuild After Fire

My name is Christa Kukoleck and I am reaching out asking for your help for my uncle Kevin.

Kevin and Eric could really use our help!! Yesterday in the early hours, they suffered a horrible, devastating house fire when their neighbor's house caught fire and quickly spread to theirs. They have lost everything either by the flames or smoke/water damage.

A neighbor came banging on their door at 3 a.m. to wake them up and let them know their house was on fire. Eric was able to help get Kevin out of the house safely while racing barefoot through the burning embers. The amazing firefighters ran back in and rescued Eric's cat, "Wicked." He was not breathing well, but they were able to resuscitate him, and he is doing okay today.

We thank God that Kevin, Eric, and Wicked are all safe, but they have lost everything. Since they live in California and so far from friends and family, they will be living in a hotel while they try to figure out how to rebuild their lives.

Kevin is a psychologist and has helped so many people through the years with mental health, and he would give the shirt off his back for anyone. While struggling with his own health issues lately, this was his first week back to work after recovering from a bad fall out of his wheelchair and needing shoulder surgery. And Eric is an incredible friend who has shifted his life to become an amazing caregiver to Kevin. Two amazing people that are truly in need of our help now.
