Help Kevin and Bonnie Rebuild after House Fire

Many of you already know we lost everything yesterday in a house fire. Our house was not just a home; it was a temple, a sanctuary, and a refuge for many.

Kevin and I have been in full service, fully dedicating our lives to our mission of anchoring in the Christ light and helping people heal from deep trauma, suffering, and struggle. Now we turn to you to ask you for help as we take the next steps to recover from this loss and continue our work.

We were already facing a $10,000 tax bill and calling on Spirit to help us with that.

Our main car has been in the shop. We had a hit and run a while back, and it turns out it created a lot more damage than we thought. It’s been in the shop for over a month awaiting claim approval. So we were relying on our second car, “Betsy,” to get us around. We didn’t have full coverage on her as she was very old, and she too was lost in the fire. So we are also now without a vehicle.

We are now understanding the insurance payout will barely touch what is needed to rebuild as well as continue to live somewhere else in the meantime. The reality of what we will need is staggering.

We are in full trust and faith that Spirit has our backs and this is all part of God’s plan. We have already been showered with clothes and food and are staying at our neighbor’s house for the moment.

We have no idea how the fire started and have no idea how the insurance process will go yet, but we anticipate we will need quite a bit of money to help us keep going and recover some of what we have lost.
