Many know Kev ( Kevin Burt ) as the upbeat, funny and witty guy from his YouTube channel Kev In Thailand. Kev's Channel

moved to Thailand four years ago and lives in Pattaya helping tourists and new expats to learn about Thailand.

About six months ago Kevin started to have daily indigestion that in the past month became unbearable, leading him to the hospital this past week where he was diagnosed with esophageal cancer.

Without insurance Kevin will undergo chemotherapy, radiology and possibly surgery with costs nearly 1,000,000 Baht ( $30,000 )

He will also have to drive to Bangkok five days a week ( a four hour drive ) for his radiology treatments (30 session).

All funds raised will go towards medical bills and recovery with hopes that we if raise enough maybe we can get him a hotel in Bangkok so he won't have to travel daily for the four weeks this coming month.

Thank you so very much for your support in Kev beating cancer.

Who is Robert Wagner and why did he start this campaign?
I am a fellow YouTuber ( Thailand Rob ) from America that became good friends with Kevin in 2016 when we met in Thailand. When Kevin was hospitalized I asked Kevin if I could set up this GoFundMe campaign for him, he agreed and I happily did so.

How will the money raised be used?
All monies raised will be applied to assists costs of Kevin's treatment, ( chemo & radiation therapy ) prescriptions, travel (Daily trips to Bangkok from Pattaya via taxi ), and general cost associated with hospital bills.

How will Robert get the money to Kevin?
Robert will personal deliver all funds directly to Kevin via in person and or wire trasfer. Robert and Kevin together publicly will be posting here and YouTube the funds raised, The GoFundMe fees and what Kevin has applied the funds to after the withdrawals.

Here is Kev himself telling you more.

UPDATE 5/12/19
Hey everyone I just spoke to Kevin.
He is out and about looking to go get some Swansons's Ica cream! lol

He has two Dr. appointments this week to see where they will go from this point.

All in all Kevin is strong willed but weak physically. He is joking and being clever as usual, but spends most of the time resting at home.

Thanks again for all the support and concern. Will post again after the Dr. visits.

Update 5/2/2019
Hello all, Kevin has been resting at home this week.
It wasn't an easy week at all to be honest, but he is doing as well as can be asked for.
Today he had some soup. Yes...it's been a tough week.
Good news is that now he is "spunky" about getting an IV treatment tomorrow. These treatments make a world of difference when you are dehydrated.
Monday starts radiotherapy again and the daily trips to Bangkok.
Thank you all again and I'll post more later this week.
