As of the beginning of July, I find myself to be a single mom through no choice of my own. Kai and I were thrown into this new version of our life without any warning. Many of you stepped up and sent wishlist items, gift cards, and household staples which got us through that short term shock. I will forever be grateful for the strength of my network.

Now, as several months have passed and I begin to sort through the red tape & wreckage, I find that many things (financially speaking) were not being taken care of as I thought they were. I am searching for an additional job that will pay our bills while allowing me to keep teaching dance - but in the meantime, we are in danger of losing our house and possibly our transportation.

I have heard endlessly that if you don’t ask for help there’s no way for people to help you. So this is me, asking humbly for my child and me, to help us keep this Florida life we love so much. Any money raised is to be used for getting current on our house payment and fixing up my car to be kid-safe again.
