My name is Kesia Green, I was born in Savanna-la-Mar, Westmoreland. I’m hereby asking for your kindness and support after a devastating Category 5 hurricane struck my home island, Jamaica. The storm has completely devastated the island, leaving entire communities in ruins.

My mother, sisters, and cousins have all lost their homes – everything is gone. Almost every house in their area and the entire island has been flattened to the ground. My sister had just finished building her home in February 2025, a dream she worked so hard to achieve, and now it’s destroyed.

Right now, my family has nowhere to stay and very little food or clothing. I am doing everything I can from here in the United States, but the damage is far beyond what I can manage alone.

I’ve started this GoFundMe to raise $5000 to help them rebuild something livable – a safe space to start over. This money will be used to send two barrels of food, clothing, and essential supplies to help them through this crisis.

Every donation, big or small, will bring hope and comfort to my family during this unimaginable time. Even a simple share of this campaign means the world.
