Help Keshawn Get His Car Repaired!!!

Donation protected
Hi everyone, my name is Keshawn Powell, and I’m raising $4,500 to repair my car — something I depend on every day for ministry work, serving my community, and getting to my jobs

This situation started in early August, when I began hearing a loud thumping noise underneath my car. At first, I thought it was something minor, but on August 6th, my Tesla went into “limp mode,” a self-protection setting that prevents the car from destroying itself when something major goes wrong.

From there, I contacted my warranty company, expecting help — but what followed was a long, exhausting back-and-forth. Tesla doesn’t communicate directly with most third-party warranty companies, so I found a Tesla-approved repair shop (CPR EV Repair) to diagnose the issue and work with the warranty provider on my behalf.

The shop handled everything professionally and sent over all the needed information, but my warranty company still denied the claim, saying it was due to “failure to maintain fluid levels.” That explanation doesn’t make sense, since Teslas don’t have serviceable fluids like gas cars. The fluid in question is internal, and its loss was a result of the damage — not the cause.

After doing my own research and speaking with several people from the warranty company, I realized they were applying gas-car standards to an electric vehicle, even though the issue was clearly something covered under my contract.

My pastor, Jason Bollinger, even reached out to a lawyer to see if anything could be done, but unfortunately, there wasn’t much legal action possible in this situation. So, after months of trying every route, I’m now stuck without help and without a working car.

This has made daily life extremely difficult. My car isn’t just how I get to work — it’s how I serve others, lead in ministry, and support my community. Without it, I’ve struggled to pay bills, get to where I need to be, and continue doing what God has called me to do.

The total repair cost is $4,500, and I simply can’t cover that on my own right now. If you’re able to help — through a donation, sharing this story, or even through prayer — I’d be deeply grateful.

Your support will not only help me fix my car, but also allow me to keep showing up for others and serving faithfully.

Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for any support you can give.
