Hi friends, family, and kind-hearted supporters,
I’m reaching out during a difficult season with humility and hope.
Last Tuesday , I was hospitalized due to a sudden and severe case of Vestibular Neuritis, a type of vertigo that left me unable to walk, stand without support or see straight ( I’m still affected by it but not to the degree I was ) .
I’m so much better and praying that I will return to a better version of me. I’ll be discharged today (6/18) and soon after will begin Vestibular Rehabilitation Therapy and OT to regain what was affected. Along with the VRT, medication and steroids , the team of doctors are confident with time that I’ll make a full recovery.
The why behind the ask:
Before this health crisis, I worked as a live-in nanny for a friend, which provided both income and housing. While in the hospital, I was informed out of concern for liability, I would not able return to work in which I fully resect. However, in that same message I was also given 8 days /Tues June 24th to move out.
This means I urgently need to secure temporary housing, pack, begin therapy, and look for a new job— all without stable income.
Full Transparency of the need:
• Temporary housing (weekly hotel/extended stay): Or until I find a room to rent.
• Other needs: food, transportation, storage/moving help, and basic living expenses during healing and job searching
• Goal: $3,000
If you’re able to give—thank you from the bottom of my heart. If not, your prayers, shares, and encouragement mean just as much.
Warmest Regards and the Biggest Hug,
Kesha♥️
