Help Kervis Stay in the U.S. – His Pathway to Citizenship

Donation protected
Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Supporters,

My name is Travis, and I’m reaching out to share the inspiring story of Kervis Chasin, a courageous man who walked thousands of miles from Venezuela to the United States in search of a safer, brighter future.

Kervis fled Venezuela’s economic collapse and political turmoil, enduring an unimaginable journey on foot through dangerous terrains, including the Darién Gap (a perilous jungle region—Google it for more details). He faced multiple life-threatening situations, including near-drowning and gunfire, driven solely by hope for the better life he dreamed of since childhood, inspired by American TV and news. As a survivor of this horrific journey, his asylum parole in the U.S. is now at risk of being revoked. Kervis dreams of becoming a U.S. citizen, contributing to his new community, and building a stable future, but he needs our immediate help to afford a skilled immigration attorney to guide him through the complex naturalization process.

The funds raised will cover:

Legal fees for an experienced immigration attorney to assist with his naturalization application.

USCIS filing fees for Form N-400 (Application for Naturalization, approximately $725).

USCIS filing fees for Form I-130 (Petition for Alien Relative, approximately $1,750).

Additional costs for document preparation, translations, or travel for legal appointments.

Every dollar counts. For example:

$25 helps cover document translation fees.

$100 contributes to USCIS filing costs.

$500 brings Kervis closer to securing attorney representation.

Kervis arrived at the California border on December 4, 2023, and was admitted legally through U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP). Six months later, his work permit was approved, and he began employment with Tesla as an extremely hardworking assembly line worker. I met Kervis about eight months ago and discovered he is a kind-hearted, spiritual, responsible, honest, and loving man who wants to give back to the country that has given him so much hope. He refuses to be a burden and spends countless hours learning English to better himself. With your support, we can help him navigate the legal system and take a critical step toward U.S. citizenship.

Please donate what you can and share this campaign with your network. If everyone in my sphere of influence donated just $2, we could easily reach this goal. Together, we can make Kervis’s American Dream a reality. Your generosity will not only change his life but also inspire others to believe in the power of community.

Thank You From the Bottom of Our Hearts,
