It breaks my heart to share what my amazing dad, Kerry, has been going through, but we truly need your help. He's always been our rock – a hardworking man from Wheeling West Virginia, who moved to Florida at 15 and built a beautiful life. He worked tirelessly, graduating college with an aviation degree, marrying my incredible mom, and making sure my sister and I always had food on the table and a roof over our heads, even when money was tight. He put in countless overtime hours so Mom could be a stay-at-home mom and raise us.

Last year, when he partially retired, we thought he'd finally get a well-deserved break. Instead, his health took a devastating turn. What started as occasional leg pain quickly escalated, leading to a diagnosis of peripheral artery disease. He needed immediate surgery, but just weeks later, his leg lost its pulse, and in a life-altering moment, he became a below-the-knee amputee. As if that wasn't enough, in October 2024, a major stroke stole his ability to speak and move, leaving us utterly shattered. The treatment window had passed, and to make matters worse, he was terminated from his job while still in the hospital. The physical therapy he desperately needs is out of reach because of the overwhelming costs, even with insurance.

Our family is now facing an unimaginable financial crisis. The medical bills from both my mom and dad, combined with everyday essentials and the mortgage, have completely drained their savings. They're falling behind, and my siblings and I are doing everything we can to emotionally and financially support them, but it's a monumental struggle. My dad's disability application is still pending, leaving us in a desperate limbo.
