Hi, my name is Kerry. Many friends and people in the rugby community know me by my nickname, "Huggy". As a rugby player for Balmy Beach RFC in Toronto, I suffered a life changing spinal cord injury in 1993; insurance coverage for a catastrophic injury did not exist as it does today.

Currently, I'm raising funds to help pay for essential upgrades and maintenance services to my wheelchair accessible van, which is 13 years old. My van provides me with an independent means of transportation within the community. I rely upon it for essential transportation, such as attending medical appointments and grocery shopping, and being able to socialize with family and friends.

The funds will be used to pay for the following upgrades and services to my van:
