Help Kerry Wallen Recover from Brain on Fire
Donation protected
Kerry Wallen joined our little work group coming in from Jamaica and since joining is one that has always been able to work so well with everyone and making work fun. She's skilled and very thoughtful in what and how she goes about her work and is dearly missed at work! I can only imagine what it is like for her Family as she slowly recovers from Anti-NMDAR Encephalitis (AKA Brain on Fire). She has been in a medically-induced coma for 8 weeks since January 27th, 2021 when we last talked to her before being admitted; when she was still trying to see out her work day with all of us asking her to take it easy as she was repeating herself and not quite herself.
We cannot begin to imagine what she has gone through and what she will have to go through to fully recover and this gofundme is intended to raise some money to help with all the other things that may not be covered or fully covered e.g. physiotherapy, speech therapy and any other things that cannot be foreseen today.
The links below provides some detail in to the disease that has affected our friend Kerry.
