I never imagined I would be asking for help like this, but here I am—choosing honesty over silence.

I live in Los Angeles, and every single day I apply for jobs. I follow up. I rewrite resumes. I show up hopeful. And despite my experience, my work ethic, and my determination, nothing has landed yet. Meanwhile, the clock keeps ticking: rent is due, my car payment looms, and the fear of losing the very things that allow me to survive and keep going grows heavier by the day.

My car isn’t a luxury—it’s how I get to interviews, meetings, and opportunities. Housing isn’t optional—it’s the difference between stability and losing everything I’ve worked so hard to build. I’m doing everything I can, but right now, effort alone isn’t enough.

I am a filmmaker and writer devoted to telling bold, human stories—stories that center LGBTQ+ voices, especially trans lives. I believe deeply in art as survival, as resistance, and as a way to remind people they are not alone. My work isn’t just about entertainment; it’s about visibility, dignity, and hope for a community that is so often erased or misunderstood.

But the truth is: it’s hard to keep creating when you’re worried about becoming homeless. It’s hard to dream when you’re calculating how many days you have left before things fall apart.

That’s why I’m asking for help—not as charity, but as community.

I’m looking for patrons, allies, and kind-hearted people who believe that trans stories matter, that queer art deserves to exist, and that creators shouldn’t have to disappear just to survive.
