Help Us Support Kerry Connelly Through A Critical Season
We all have those people in our lives—wise, strong, fiercely generous souls who hold it down for everyone else. Kerry Connelly is one of those people. She’s shown up for countless others through their pain, transitions, and truth-telling seasons. And now, it’s our turn to show up for her.
Kerry is facing an avalanche of unexpected hardship. A perfect storm of loss, financial strain, and caregiving has collided in ways that would level anyone. She didn’t ask for this, and we get to be the ones who will love and care for her through this season...because community is the antidote to isolation.
Here’s Kerry’s story, in her own words:
⸻
“I’ve been running my own business since 2015. It was always meant to be a side hustle—just something to pay for the kids’ hockey skates and extras like that. Then life unraveled.
My parents both got very ill. My marriage fell apart. Suddenly, I was a full-time caregiver, co-parent, business owner, and navigating divorce. My dad passed. My mom is at the end of her life, and we’re out of resources. Her care costs thousands more per month than what she receives.
Meanwhile, legal fees are stacking up—around $7,000 just for the divorce attorney and mediation. I did have some clients, and I was also working as a high-ticket salesperson for a coaching company. I was the top salesperson for two months. But then the quality of leads tanked. I had a medical scare. My mom had one too. I took a few days to tend to both, and I lost the job — and the coach is now closing her offer.
I had already been asked to drop my clients for that job, so when it fell apart, I had nothing left. No clients. No income. Just a pile of obligations and a whole lot of grief.
I’m trying—I really am. I’m applying for jobs, reaching out to former clients, building something new. But it takes time. And right now, I’m just trying to make it through to the next chapter.”

We are raising emergency funds to help Kerry bridge the gap between where she is now and where she’s going. A few months from now, she’ll be standing on steadier ground—rebuilding her business, reimagining her life—but she can’t get there without some help right now.
Your contribution will go directly toward:
• Covering basic living expenses
• Paying legal fees for her divorce
• Supplementing her mother’s end-of-life care
• Buying time to rebuild her client base or secure employment
Let’s be the scaffolding she needs in this tender, transitional season.
If Kerry has ever written something that moved you, said something that helped you feel seen, or stood up for what’s right in a way that gave you courage—this is your chance to say: we see you now. We’ve got you. And you’re not alone.
Join us. Share this. Give if you can. Kerry’s not just going to get through this—she’s going to rise. But we need to carry her across this part of the bridge.
With fierce love,
